Food Chain and Food Web
Some abiotic factors in this biome include: rocks, water, soil, and any trash found here. An example of a predator-prey relationship is a hawk, and a bird. The hawk is the predator ( one that eats the other) and the bird is the prey( one that is eaten from the other). Predator-prey relationships can be disorganized if there isn't enough of either species. The sun from the the food web supplies energy to the plants.
Energy Pyramid
An energy pyramid shows how the energy flows through certain species. The levels precentages are: 100, then 10, then 1, then .01. Although it is the highest level, this level actually has the least amount of energy (.01%). Energy is lost as the pyramid goes higher because the organisms below use it all up.
